Her name was Mary Ellen Farris and she was born 7-19-1899. Her parents were Samuel Farris (maybe Samuel Farris, Jr.) and Mattie Wilson. She lived in Eastern Kentucky, SW West Virginia most of her life. The only information I have on her other than her birthdate and parents is that she was possibly born in Virginia, and had the following siblings: Ann (her married name was Hensley), Joe, John and David. Mary Ellen Farris married one time, to Wilson Evans, Jr. around 1918/1919. They had 6 children, my father was the oldest. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
