A memorial service will be held Friday, July 6, at 7 p.m. at All Nations Church of God with Pastor Chad Dunford officiating. He was born June 27, 1961, in Los Angeles, Calif., a son of the late Robert Lee and Julia Mullett Farris. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He had a prison and hospital ministry and was a member of All Nations Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Marci Farris of the home; a brother, Gabriel Farris of Oakland, Calif.; mother-in-law, Peggy Beaubien of Santa Margarita, Calif.; sister-in-law, Heather Beaubien of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; and several other close relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, July 6, from 6 to 7 p.m. (service time) at the church. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of the arrangements.
