WILLIAM "Glenn" FARRIS, SR., 75, of Bartlett, formerly of Sparta, TN, died May 22, 2007 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. He was a retired bus driver and was formerly employed by Malone & Hyde as well as a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Farris of Bartlett; son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Shelby Farris of Lakeland; brothers, Frank and Jimmy Farris, both of Memphis, as well as a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. Friday, May 25 at Bellevue Baptist Church Chapel, with services to follow at 1 p.m. There will also be a visitation from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, May 26 at Thurman Funeral Home, Sparta, TN, with service to follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be immediately after at Highland Cemetery in Sparta.
