Greensboro News and Record Greensboro, NC May 16, 1996 STONEVILLE - Thomas Junior Farris, 69, of 124 Lemons St., Stoneville, died Wednesday, May 15, 1996, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, 1996, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Ridgeview Cemetery, Eden. He was a native of Rockingham County, was a member of Smyrna Presbyterian Church, and was retired from Sam W. Smith, Inc. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Haizlip Farris of the home; daughters, Sharon Sexton of Yanceyville, Shirley Conner of Stoneville; mother and stepfather, Lucy and Walter Lickens of Madison; brothers, Billy Farris and Donald Lee Farris, both of Stoneville, and Jimmy Farris of Eden; sisters, Kay Jones of Reidsville, and Ruby Barber of Burlington; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and three step grandchildren. Visitation will be 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday at Fair Funeral Home, and other times at 124 Lemons St., Stoneville.
