My husband's grandmother was Maudie Viola Farris Alford. She lived in Wichita, Kansas from the 1940s to 1980s. After that, she lived with her daughter in Joplin, until passing away in 1988. She is buried in Wichita, Kansas. Her father was Robert Thad Farris and she was born in Arkansas and moved to Oklahoma before coming to Kansas. So she wouldn't be connected to the Missouri Farris line.
