Eleanor, I don't have any other information on William "Billy" Farris other than is approximate birthyear. I do know that most of his sons made it to Kentucky at some point in time, but I'm not sure if he traveled with them. It seems that most of his children settled in the Grayson County, and Edmonson County part of Kentucky. The only child that I have any real birth information on is Watson Farris born in Campbell County, Virginia and died in Sadler, Kentucky. I believe Sadler is in either Grayson or Edmonson County. The only child I have for John Farris is Mary Farris b.abt 1849. Like I said, I just got this information and am in the process of gathering proof of it all. It's difficult for me because we are living overseas, so everything has to be done by snail mail. Thomas Farris is where my line is at. I have got him listed in the 1860 Edmonson County census, but that's about it for now. I hope this help you out some. Let me know if there is anything I didn't answer for you.
