I receive quite a few unsavory spam attempts on my lists simply because the failed attempts bounce to the listowner. I don't think I have seen one actually hit the list in quite awhile, although attempts are literally made every day. If you receive spam e-mail that bothers you, send a note to the source ISP. Most ISPs have an address set up that is "abuse@ispname" (substitute the ISP name). For example, if you receive spam mail from AOL, write to "abuse@aol.com"; if you receive spam from a hotmail address, address your concern to "abuse@hotmail.com". Wanda
