Sheila, In the 1880 census for Grahamville, Beaufort County, SC there is a record of a Mamie Farris aged 9. daughter of John A. Farris and Mary Farris she has at least 8 siblings. Could this be your Mary Mame??? Dec. 31, 1901 in Ark. Mary Mame (Farris) Barrentine died November 12, 1902. She is buried at Sumner Cemetery, Lonoke County, Arkansas. Any information about her parents would be appreciated.
