I saw this in my paper today (The Cincinnati Enquirer) and thought it was well worth the mention... Nine years ago, the city of Cincinnati's population of 258,000 was underestimated by 3.1 percent. The reason I thought this was worth mentioning is because not only did the census takers of yesteryear not care but the people this day and age dont care. There are steps taken to ensure that this dont happen again but only because the city of Cincinnati losses billions of dollars in aids from the government but as long as these steps are taken we will soon have everyone available on the census. I just thought this was food for thought!! I will keep the whole story and if anyone would like it I will send it to you via email.
