Greensboro News and Record Greensboro, NC June 24, 1995 MAYODAN - Mrs. Cora Lee Farris Doss, 72, of 202 W. Washington St. died Friday, June 23, 1995, at Morehead Memorial Hospital. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Ray Funeral Home Chapel in Madison with entombment in the Stoneville City Cemetery. Mrs. Doss was a lifelong resident of Rockingham County, was retired from Tultex Corp., and was a homemaker and Methodist. She is survived by her husband, Hassell V. Doss of the home; daughters and son-in-law, Gail Wilkins Clark of Pelham, Shirley and Henry Woods of Madison; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry G. and Brenda W. Doss of Mayodan, Bobby G. and Tammy Taylor Doss of Mayodan; brother, Robert L. Farris of Livermore, Calif.; sister, Ann Purgason Vernon of Summerfield; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. tonight at Ray Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
