Dear List Members: How nice it was to receive so much information from one of our members! Here are some connections that you might find useful: Julius Farris 61 Washington County and were brothers. James Farris 52 Washington County Julius C. Farris 27 Washington County was James's son by his first wife (Elizabeth Jane) and Julius's nephew. Ballard Farris 26 Washington County was the son of James and Julius's brother, David Farris. America Farris, who is listed in James's household was, according to one source I have, listed twice in the 1880 Census. She was also listed with her cousin, Verlin Morgan McNew. Trigg Farris 35 Russell County may be the son of another brother to Julius, James, and David. Thomas Farris had a son named Trigg, although according to other information I have, he may have been only about 28 in 1880. I know censuses often have glaring errors in age. Finally, William D. Farris 26 Washington County, was the son of Julius Farris. His wife Catherine was a Hartzog (Hartsock) born in North Carolina. There is at least a possibility that the wife of Ballard Farris (Rachel Hartsock) was her sister. If any of you recognize any of these people as your kin, I'd appreciate it if you would contact me. We can probably help each other. Lillie Munford
