Hi Gang! I totally agree with Carole about the surname spelling! We have been researching quite a bit and there are tons of different spellings used, sometimes several different versions in the same document. I have ruled possibilities out due to spelling difference, and regretted it down the road. You need to consider the times, the backgrounds, the nationalities, the literacy and such when you look at the spelling variations. Gail
