Dee, Where did you find Alexander FERIS et al? He certainly appears to fit into my husband's family. I am sending you a family group sheet of what may be Alexander's birth family. I'm chasing two FARIS (spell it any way you want to) families which may be connected, but so far we don't know where. One member of the other family went to Mississippi, possibly because Alexander was there. And there is another family in Maury County, TN, that spells its name FARISS. Since both families were in Maury County at the same time, they're probably related, too. These FARRISes are quite a puzzle.
