This appears to be the will of William Faries, who died May 30, 1805 in York Co., SC, but his wife was Agnes Cowan, not Nancy. I know someone said Nancy was a nickname for Agnes, but I've never seen Agnes Cowan Faris called anything but Agnes. William Martin & his five shiploads of settlers) by Jean Stephenson, she list the will of a David Faries, York Co. wills, Vol. 1, page 367, 18 April 1805 proven 15 November 1805. It gives the wife's name as Nancy. Sons: David, John (absent in the western country) James (if he lives to maturity), Joshua and Isaac. Daughters: Margaret, Mary and Sarah (under age), The puzzling thing is that his is the same wife and children of William Farris/Faries that Julie Laughner provided in Vol. 99 #62. Unless his name was William David, we have the wrong head of family or the book made a serious error.
