She is one of 4 children of George M. FARRIS(b. 1769 in VA, d. 1858 in Moniteau Co., MO) and Susannah Sneed. George and Susannah married December 24, 1797 in Albemarle Co., VA and had the following children: 1) Minor J. Farris, b. 1800 in VA, m. Mary Brockman 10/2/1826 in St. Louis, MO. 2) Calvin E. Farris, b. 1/23/1802 in Albemarle Co., VA, d. 12/31/1891 in Pond, St. Louis Co., MO, m. Eliza Sheppard 12/31/1831 in St. Louis, MO 3) Amelia Emily Farris, b. about 1803 in Albemarle Co., VA, m. Garrett SON 4) Grandville Farrs, b. about 1805, m. Permelia Hart 12/23/1831 in St. Louis, MO George Farris is one of 7 children of John Farris, b. about 1742, d. 1/20/1807 in Louisa Co., VA and Lucy Harlow, b. about 1750, m. 7/26/1762. Their 7 children are: 1) Sarah Farris, b. about 1740. Her birth should be more like 1765, judging by her siblings. 2) William Farris, b. about 1767, m. Alsey Hughes on 8/13/1787 Henrico County Marriage Records. John Goine is surety for the marriage. 3) Charles Farris, b. about 1772, m.
