    3. Springfield Sunday Republican - Springfield MA December 6, 1998 Mary T. Ferris SPRINGFIELD - Mary T. Ferris, 72, of Boynton Beach, Fla., died Wednesday. She was a clerk for the former Ferris Depart- ment Store in Chicopee. Born in Springfield, she lived in Boynton Beach for the past 42 years. She was a member of the St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Springfield, organized the Chicopee Community Players and was active in the Delray Beach Playhouse and Children's Theater. Sher leaves three sisters, Doris Ferris Joseph of Maumee, Ohio, Louise Ferris Vernadakis of Tyngsboro and Laurice Ferris of Chapel Hill, N.C. The funeral will be Tuesday morning at St. George Orthodox Cathedral, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Cierpial Grape St. Funeral Home is in charge. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 53 Capital Drive, West Springfield, MA 01089 or the American Lung Association, 393 Maple St., Springfield, MA 01105.
