Evansville (IN) Courier January 15, 1999 McLeansboro ILL.- Dwight Farris, 79, died Wednesday morning at his home. He was a retired farmer and Protestant. Surviving are four daughters, Reba French and Vitginia Sue Nichols, both of Mt. Vernon, Dixie Tucker of San Clemente, Calif. and Judi Manki of Chesterfield MO; three sons, Charles William of Dunlap, Alan of East Peoria and James Leroy of McLeansboro; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. His wife, Norma Jean Allen, preceded him in death. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gholosn Funeral Home in McLeansboroChapel, with burial in Albion Cemetery in McLeansboro. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
