I have documentation from Madison County Circuit Court on two different Farris'. One is a Neffany Farris married to a James Smith Faris (he died 1821). When he died they had children all under the age of 6. And the second is a George M. Farris (he also went by G.M. Farris) died 29 Sept 1952. It looks as if Mae (May) E. Farris was his spouse and they had two children - Eldon B. from Alton and Mildred Mae Cook.
