The News-Sentinal - Ft. Wayne IN January 20, 1999 Esther Faris, 95, of Marion, a member of St. James Lutheran Church, did Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, at Christwood Retirement Home. The Fort Wayne native was a former member of Hostess House and Marion General Hospital Auxiliary. Surviving are a stepson, John Faris of West Lake Village, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Joan Garwood of Ephrata, Pa.; nieces and nephews including Carol Thonert of Fort Wayne; and several cousins. Services are 11 a.m. Friday at St. James Lutheran Church, Marion, with calling one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion.
