hello all of you out there! Yes I am new to this mailing list and have already posted my biggest Farris problem here on the list. no responses so far however. But I am still hoping. I seem to be the only one that has an interest in a Farris from OLD New England here. Everyone else seems a bit more south. My interest still lies with an Orange Farris who married Jabez Lumbert in Barnstable, MA in 1755. There was an Orange (Rogers) Cartwright, (widow of Nicholas Cartwright of Nantucket) who married a Morris Ferris in 1715 but do not know if it is the same person. would think she would have been going by her former married nameof Cartwright if that was the case.
