Dear Cindy and Ken, Thank you for your information which is VERY interesting. I feel sure they are the same family. It is no coincidence they each came from In to Schuyler Co., Mo. to Randolph Co., Mo. I still have relatives in Randolph Co, do you? And Higbee--there are lots of Thompsons there. Do you have the names of the children of Isaac and Mahala? I have cousins in their high 80s who may have remembered them. At this point they are "not interested" in genealogy but if I had something to jog their memories we may come up with the relationship of our families. I also have Thompson relatives with whom I have not been in contact with for about 15 years, who may be able to help me out. Thanks for renewing my interest in these lines which have plagued me for years. Looking forward to hearing from you again.
