Reba, Do you happen to have a list of the children of William Faris (1734-1818)? He strikes me as close to the right age to be the father of the apparent brothers James (ca 1751?-1822), John (1761-1826), and William (ca 1765?-1803), of Fleming co, Ky. The birth years for James and William are only educated guesses and could be off quite a bit. James had a daughter Jane, probably his eldest, who m. 1799 in Fleming co. to John Markwell (1772-1850). If she was quite a bit younger than her husband, let's say b. ca 1781, her father James Faris could easily have been born late enough to be William's son (e.g., more like 1758 than 1751).
