There must be a researcher, somewhere in this world, researching a Farris family, from maybe Iowa, that had a son named Marion Matthew Farris, born in September, 1872. He HAD to have parents!! It is possible that his parents were not married to one another.....and that the surname Wilcher or Workman plays a part in that scenario. MMF married Laura Ellen Beach in Oregon, approximately 1892. LEB was born in Illinois, and her mother was Louisa Cochran Beach, born in Ohio. Marion and Laura had 10 children; two of whom are still living, but in their 80's. The children were born in varying states: Oregon; Missouri; Oklahoma, Kansas, and New Mexico. Marion died in California in 1960; Laura died in California in 1939. Anyone know these folks?
