EDWARD2 FARRIS (WILLIAM1 FARIS) was born Abt. 1745 in Augusta Co., VA, and died Aft. 1793 in Washington Co., VA. He married AGNES Abt. 1760 in Washington Co., VA. She died Aft. 1820 in Washington Co., VA. Notes for EDWARD FARRIS: Edward was raised by guardian, Francis McCown. Children of EDWARD FARRIS and AGNES are: 2. i. WILLIAM3 FARIS, b. Abt. 1775, 7-Mile Ford, VA; d. Bet. 1825 - 1830, Washington Co., VA. ii. THOMAS FARRIS, b. Abt. 1776. iii. EDWARD FARRIS, b. Abt. 1778. iv. LEVIA FARIS, b. Abt. 1779; m. NIMROD FARRIS. v. ROBERT FARRIS, b. Abt. 1781. Notice here Edward (1) born and died in VA. (2)EDWARD3 FARRIS (EDWARD2, WILLIAM1 FARIS) was born Abt. 1778. I have no other info on him think he maybe the one that went to Tennessee but have no hard evidence of this. (3)EDWARD4 FARIS (WILLIAM3, EDWARD2 FARRIS, WILLIAM1 FARIS) was born December 22, 1792 in Washington Co., VA, and died December 22, 1876. He married (1) MARY BISHOP March 20, 1820. He married (2) KEZIAH BLANKENBECKER July 20, 1858. More About EDWARD FARIS: Military service: 1812, Served in Bradley Regiment of the VA militia in the War of 1812 Children of EDWARD FARIS and MARY BISHOP are: i. WILLIAM5 FARIS, b. Abt. 1821. ii. S.W. FARIS, b. Abt. 1823. iii. MARGARET FARIS, b. Abt. 1827. iv. ELIZABETH FARIS, b. Abt. 1828. Notice that the 1st and the 3rd Edward were both born and died in VA.
