I am tied to both t he Gannt and Faires names. As you can tell, both names are spelled different from yours but wonder if we are connected somewhere down the line. My GGG Grandmother was Jean Faires b. 1765 to James Faires and Jean Adair in York Co. SC. Jean Faires also became an Adair when she married my GGG Grandfather, John Adair. My G Grandmother was named Frances Gannt. She married Andrew Jackson Adair in Marshall Co. MS in 1857. Contact me if we have connections.
