    1. [FARRIS-L] FARRIS, etc. and FAIRESS
    2. Warren Fairess
    3. Samuel Fairess, b. 11-12-1827, d. 1-22-1895, buried Methodist cemetery, Dover, Kent County, Delaware is my gggrandfather. Some of the family name variations I have found thus far are: Faris-1850 & 1860 census, Farres-1870 census, Farris-1880 census, Ferris & Faries-1900 census, and Fairess-1910 census. Samuel was a Blacksmith and in the 1880 census his brother Alfred, age 19, was residing with the family. Alfred was also a Blacksmith. Think I have connected the Fairess and Faries families together, although hard documented. Am trying to work back for a possible connection to Hugh Fairess, Pennsylvania in the 1750's. Or to the Faries whenever and whereever. and whereever.=20
