Susan, The birth and death dates you have for James Ross Farris match the dates I found for James Fariss son of James Fariss and Peggy Whiteside. I obtained these dates from a Fariss family Bible transcription. The death date is also from a tombstone transcription found in Maury County Cemeteries.
