With all the discussion about the Alexander FARISes, I thought I'd post my names again. Leah Faris is listed on the 1850 census of Calloway County, KY as having been born in SC. She married Andrew Alexander in Maury County, TN 29 Apr 1819. She is included in her father's will signed 9 May 1820 in Maury Co. Her father is Alexander Faris; wife of Alexander is Elizabeth, but she may be a second wife. All children listed in the will are: Thomas C., Moses A., Mary Ann Walker, Sarah Kirk, John, Adam, Alexander, Caleb, Leah Alexander, Mary A., and Rody E. Executors: wife Elizabeth, son Alexander and neighbor Hugh Douglas. Witnesses: John __________, Daniel McKennon and Edward McFadden, Jr. Does anyone have a complete copy of the will? All I have is an abstract. I know about all those Farris, Farriss, etc. families in Maury County, but have never been able to connect with them. Susan Hurt thurt@redrock.net
