6 Dec 1913: My notes taken several years ago from my old cousin Wm. Choate - find a certain Mrs. Brown was niece of James Faris 1768. She was 1st cousin to the Halls. Am inclined to think one other sister of James 1768 m. Maj. Temple Hall. His wife was called Aunt Prudy. While the Halls & Faris do not claim relationship, have had people ask me if "Prudy" wasn't a Faris. (note: Claudia O'Driscoll names Prudence Patterson (1743-Aug 15, 1839) as the wife of John Hall (1736 - Mar 1, 1784) and Elizabeth Gillespie (?) (1788 - Jan 13, 1847) as the wife of Major Temple Hall (Sept 21, 1781- Jun 17, 1857)
