Hi Emma, Yes, he's the one we are searching for. He was born in 1850 and married a Mary Jane Hines Powell around 1878. He was my ggrandfather . He and his wife both died (we think) around 1991. We don't know what caused the death. Their death left their children (one of which was my grandmother ) orphaned. We also do not know where he is buried. We have searched the records in Maury county but have not found anything. His parents were Samuel Farris and Elizabeth English. Any information on James Edwards would be helpful. Thanks so much, Linda
