Wanda, I am heavily related to both the Gantt and the Farris families out of NC. Both of the families married into the Riggin(s) family, my main line. One group then went to TN, IL ,MO ,KY and another went to SC and/or GA and AL. (a third was MD in origin) Do you have any Farris/Gantt marriages.
