Hi all -- I am looking for info on Francis Marion Phares (b. 1848 Pickaway Co., OH, d. 1929 Cornland, IL). He is listed in the 1850 Pickaway Co. census in the household of Elijah Feris (b. 1779 VA married to Elizabeth Thompson). Do those of you who are Elijah Phares descendents know anything about Francis Marion? I have been unable to determine who his parents are but have been told that one of the women in the household, perhaps Susannah or Polly Ann, may be his mother. His father is unknown but he may have been a Conner. The people listed in Elijah Feris' 1850 household are: Elijah Feris 62, M, b. VA Farmer Elizabeth 61, F, b. VA Susannah 30 F, b. VA Ely 25, M, b. VA Polly Ann, 23, F, b. VA Elija 21, M, b. VA Robert, 18, M, b. VA Francis Marion 2, M, b. OH They were dwelling 44, household 44 in Deer Creek Township. Thanks in advance. J P
