Wanda, Margaret Long here. I am looking for the parents, grandparents, etc. of Ruth (Ruthie) Farris Phillps. I have very little information on Ruthie as follows: Daniel Phillips born 1806 (where?) died 6 Aug 1850 in Jackson Co., NC. Ruthie Farris born 1817 (where?) died in 1878 (?) Jackson Co., NC. both are buried at Rich Mt, Caney Fork, NC Daniel and Ruthie Farris Phillips setteled in the Cullowhee section of Jackson Co., NC. They had eleven children there: Two dates of birth, death or marriage only except for my line. Polly married Clem Hooper - 7 known children. Sarrah born in 1812 married Elias Watson - 6 known children. Betsy married Si Watson - 3 known children. Daniel marrried Louise Dawson - 8 known children. William married Nancy Parker - 9 known children. Matilda married Sam Coward - 5 or 6 children. Nellie/Elenor married James Wood 10 Jan 1839 - 10 children My line Arta Mariah Wood born 16 Oct 1840 Haywood Co., NC married Eathan Allen Cook. Ruthie died young. Nancy married 28 Nov 1844 John Parker - 10 children. Jackson married Margaret Cunningham - 11 children. Rachel married Pleas Parker - 10 children. They sold out and moved to the upper Valley of the Caney Fork. I have left out the names of the children and the spouses I have due to space and time. Would gladly send anything I have to anyone it would help.
