Dear Mike, Do you know who James' father or grandfather was? My g-g-g-gf was WILLIAM FARISS/FARIS/FARRIS who died in Walker Co. GA in 1835. His eldest son, also WILLIAM, moved to TN, vicinity of Tullahoma (which is in or near Coffee Co), and married a Clardy. I am descended from WILLIAM Sr/'s youngest son, SAMUEL.
