Just to add to the James Farris confusion: My Gr. Grandfather James was born in SC in 1803, He had 2 sons named James: The first was born in 1827 married Elizabeth and had 5 children: MaryEliza, William B. Jason, Aphelia and Rebecca. The second was born in 1845. sorry, no addtional info on him. Gr Grandfather also had a son named Benjamin (b.1824) and Benjamin had a son James born in 1860.
