Hi there! In addition to doing genealogical research on my paternal family, I am also trying to locate my father. His name is Kenneth Wayne Farris. He was born on July 22, 1949, probably in Oklahoma near Oklahoma City. He graduated from either La Mirada High School or John Glen High School in La Mirada, California in 1967. He joined the Navy in late 1969 or early 1970. He has dark hair and hazel eyes. His parents are John and Marlene Farris. Marlene may have been of Latino descent. There was also a younger brother and a sister, whose nickname was Cookie or Kiki or Chickie. She also had dark hair and eyes. Thanks for your help!
