Hagerstown Morning Herald Hagerstown, MD January 14, 1998 Berkeley Springs, W.Va. - Dale Craig Farris, 46, of Berkeley Springs, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 1998, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va. Born March 25, 1951, in Martinsburg, he was the son of Julia Ellen Clark Farris of Berkeley Springs and the late Hamil Leon Farris. He attended Berkeley Springs High School. He was a construction worker for Giant Food Stores, Jessup, Md. He was of the Protestant faith. He was a member of Laborers International Union of North America, Local 616, Cumberland, Md.; and a member of Risinger-Stotler VFW Post 4019, Berkeley Springs. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 25 years, Connie Marie Rockwell Farris; one daughter, Kristy Lynn Farris of Berkeley Springs; one brother, Rodger Leon Farris of Great Cacapon, W.Va.; one granddaughter; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 306 Union St., Berkeley Springs. The Rev. Charles L. Frum and the Rev. Paul Allen Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Union Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Berkeley Springs. The family will receive friends today and Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral home will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, for the convenience of friends.
