Who is Betsey Faris? How do I get in touch with her? She has information on the Alexander Faires, Sr. line. I really am puzzled at this point about this line, as we have information on it also......we are looking for our connection to this group. If Betty Faris is out there, or someone has her information or snail mail address, would you please be so kind as to send it along to me? itapa@enter.net Our line is: my Grandfather was Alfred Dexter Faries (DE and PA) married Lizzie McAfee his father was Charles B. Faries (DE) blacksmith and farmer married Susannah Turner (1880, 1900 census) His father was Alfred D. Faries (DE) blacksmith and farmer married Rebecca (1870 census) 1850 census lists: all to be born in DE Samuel Faris-22 yrs. (Blacksmith) Margaret Faris-20 yrs. Ann E. Faris-1 yr Alfred Faris-19 yrs. (Blacksmith) Elizabeth Boyen/Bosen ? 40 yrs. Alfred and Samuel might be brothers or cousins. We might come off this line of Samuel. At this point it is anybody's guess. Most of our family was born in DE/PA and moved on from there. We have the information from Alexander and Janet James family who married 09/05/1765 at Emmaneul Church in DE We have the connection with the line of Alexander Faries from those boys.....but have been unable to connect with one of the other brothers as of yet. On this Alex and Janet Chart it lists James as the father and Robert as the grandfather. No other information for those two. We also have a line from William Faries who left New Castle DE with his son Robert and went to Ohio. (Butler Co. 1786) There is a line there, also trying to connect with the DE lines. They are working it from Colorado. The male Faries lines have very strong genes, as most of the pictures from different men, resemble each other very much. Any more leads would be a blessing. Thanks Carole Faries Werner itapa@enter.net
