Bud was the son of James Monroe Farris and Ruth Catherine (Blanchard) Farris. Bud is survived by his wife, Monas (Minks) Farris, of the home; sons, Randy Farris of Lake Lotawana, MO, and his wife, Rose, Bob Farris of Plano, TX, and his wife, Vicki, and Gary Farris of Liberty, MO. He also leaves a daughter, Cathy (Farris) Jones of Mercer, MO, and her husband, Bob. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, James Patton (JP), AnneMarie (Annie), Vanessa and Sam. Bud was a retired Teamster of 31 years. He was a veteran of World War II and served with the 26th Regiment of the Big Red One at Nuremburg after the war. Bud was a nature lover who enjoyed gardening (all of his relatives prized his tomatoes), collecting music and bird watching. The family is especially grateful for the Vitas hospice care Bud received ! during his last days. This included many nurses, but especially Vince Friedt, Amy Carr, and Valerie LollisBoose. The family will receive visitors at Newcomer's Chapel, 509 S. Noland Road, Independence, MO, from 6-8 p.m., on Thursday, March 16. Then the family will receive visitors at the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, 314 Jefferson St., Clinton, MO, on Friday, March 17, at 10 a.m. There will be a procession at 10:30 a.m. to Maplewood Cemetery in Brownington, MO, for a graveside with a VFW Honor Guard at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Maplewood Cemetery in Brownington, MO. Ronald Ray Farris went to meet his heavenly father Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 29, 2006. Ray was an identical twin born to Luther John and Cecil Brown Farris on June 10, 1931. He married the love of his life, Delores Quillin, on January 3, 1954, and from that union they had three sons, Ted Farris of Purdy, Terry Farris, also of Purdy, and Tony Farris of Fulton. Ray had many adventures in his life. He worked for the Fire Department of Joplin as well as Central State Steel of Joplin. He was a member of the Marine Corps and loved telling stories of him and his brother Jay playing baseball while growing up. Ray was a minister for the Assemblies of God pastoring the Purdy church for eight years. He pastored and ministered to people all over the country until his retirement in 1987 after 37 years of service. After his retirement he enjoyed tinkering with satellites and took great pride in helping his son Ted start up his own satellite business. Ray was loved and admired by all who knew him. Ray is survived by his wife, Delores; his father-in-law, Rusty Quillin; his three sons; his twin brother Jay of Carthage; his sisters, Mary Vaughn of Carterville and Thalia Brock of Duenweg. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Gene; and his sister, Alice VanAmber.     3. Hi list, I found this in the Albany (NY) Times Union (online).I'm not related just passing it on Albert F. Bub Ferris COHOES Albert F. Bub Ferris, 79, of Johnston Ave., Cohoes, died Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy. Born in Springfield, Mass., he was the son of the late Ernest E. and Josephine Eisenman Ferris and beloved husband of Mary Mulcahy Ferris of Cohoes. Bub lived most of his life in Cohoes. He was educated in the Cohoes school system and attended Hudson Valley Community College. He retired in 1986 from the NYS Canal system as a section superintendent for the Waterford Locks. Bub was a World War II veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in the Philippines. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed boating on Lake George. Besides his wife Mary, he is survived by his loving children, Nora Fennel and her husband Michael of Troy and Anthony Tony Ferris and his wife Maureen of Waterford; his adored grandchildren, Sarah Fennell, Shannon (Kirk) Gendron, Michael Fennell, Justin Ferris and Dana Ferris; and the love of his life, his great-granddaughter, Megan Gendron; his sisters, Marion Schafer of Pa., Elizabeth Gibbons of Waterford and Barbara Babson of Clifton Park. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He was predeceased by his brother, Norman Ferris. Funeral from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St., Waterford, Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Farris K.W. Farris of Ashland died Friday, Feb. 10, 2006, at Boone Hospital Center. He was 84. Mr. Farris was born on Oct. 30,1921, in Centerville, Iowa, to Wal?ter Lynn and Lydia Wilson Farris. He married Jennie Munden on Nov. 6, 1948, in Pocahontas, Ark. Mr. Farris was a member of the Ashland Masonic Lodge No. 156 and of the Scottish Rite and the Moolah Shrine, both in Columbia. Mr. Farris moved with his family to Ashland in 1956 to start Sentinel Industries with his uncle and brother. Mr. Farris’ sons and cousin are still active in the business, which manufactures and pressure treats wood. “He was always active, he always had two or three projects going at the same time,” Daniel Farris, a son, said. Mr. Farris is survived by his wife; two sons, Daniel Farris of New Bloomfield and Melvin Farris of Heber Springs, Ark.; a sister, Dorothy Bratton of Excelsior Springs; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. His two brothers, Maurice and Cedric, died earlier. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Robinson Funeral Home, 601 N. Henry Clay Blvd. in Ashland. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes, American Heart or Alzheimer’s associations.

Su Debree. A committal service will take place at a later date in Ainsworth, Neb. She died Jan. 30, 2006, at Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo. Born Dec. 8, 1911, in Herman, Minn., she was the daughter of Della and Edward Klink; and, as a young girl, moved with her family to Nebraska, where she attended school. In 1926, she married Marvin James Farris in Nebraska. They made their home in the Sand Hills of Nebraska and owned a cattle ranch. In 1934, they moved to Wood, S.D., where they owned and operated a farm. The family moved to Bassett, Neb., in 1940; and then to Ainsworth. She worked at Omaha Cold Storage. After moving east of Long Pine, Neb., where they had a ranch, they sold it in 1949 and moved into town. She worked at the Upstill Hotel. Her husband then took a job with Peter Kiewit and the couple lived in various places following construction. In 1959, they moved to Gillette to be near their son and his family; and, later, moved to Osage. In 1964, they moved to Edgerton, where she had a furniture-upholstering business and did craftwork. Her husband preceded her in death in July 1968, after 42 years of marriage. She remained in Edgerton until 2004, when she became a resident of Amie Holt Care Center. A member of Midwest Community Methodist Church and Midwest Senior Center, she loved spending time with her son and his family and enjoyed crafts of all types. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Smokey and Shirley Farris of Buffalo; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son, three sisters, three brothers and a granddaughter. He was found by a co-worker who went to his home after Mr. Farris did not come to work or call in. Known as "Pinky," he was born June 10, 1953, in Paola, the son of Harold and Ruth Farris. He attended school in Osawatomie and was a 1971 graduate of Osawatomie High School. After graduating, he moved to Klamath Falls, Ore., and joined the U.S. Navy, where he remained for 22 years. He was baptized in the First Baptist Church of Osawatomie. He met and married Vivian Stamey while living in California. She preceded him in death Sept. 23, 1998. Survivors include his father, Harold Farris of Arkansas; his mother, Ruth Farris Doublin of Wickliffe, Ky.; his stepfather Bailey Doublin; a brother, Richard Farris of McClure, Ill.; four half sisters, Carol Paine of Olathe, Leona Snyder of Carl Junction, Mo., Connie Deffenbaugh of Lenexa and Jean Lile of Parker; a half brother, Leslie Farris of Osawatomie; and two stepchildren, John Stamey and Donna Stamey, both of California. Mr. Farris was cremated, and his ashes will be placed with his wife's remains. No services are planned.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Manera Saloom and Chris Searcy of Selma, and Debra Saloom and Wayne Strickland of Dothan; a son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Ruth Saloom of Montgomery; eight grandchildren, Lin Singleton, Manera Elizabeth Saloom, Michael Joseph Saloom, Mary Kathryn Searcy, Chris Jackson Searcy Jr., Houston Farris Searcy, Steve and Wendy Strickland; two great-grandchildren, Hilary Crawford and Hayden Crawford. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005, at Morrison Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2005, at Morrison Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park. Dewayne Goss and Wanda Keele will officiate. Mr. Farris was a native of Colbert County, Ala. He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Farris and Odie Farris; former wife, Kathleen Farris; and his sisters, Betty Joe Richardson and Ida Dooley. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Keller Farris; his sons, Tommy Farris Jr. and Kenneth Keller; his daughters, Kathy Corsbie, Vicky Holt and Kristy Turberville; his brothers, Jimmy Farris and Gean Farris; sisters, Lillian Cosby and Clara West; and a host of grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Larry Cosby, Timothy Winsted, Ray Stanfield, Lee Cosby, Jimmy Hooper and Wayne Smith. Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee, is directing.
