    1. [FARRIS-L] Neffany Farris & a George M. Farris
    2. Debi Faris
    3. I have documentation from Madison County Circuit Court on two different Farris'. One is a Neffany Farris married to a James Smith Faris (he died 1821). When he died they had children all under the age of 6. And the second is a George M. Farris (he also went by G.M. Farris) died 29 Sept 1952. It looks as if Mae (May) E. Farris was his spouse and they had two children - Eldon B. from Alton and Mildred Mae Cook. If this sounds familiar to anyone give me a holler. -- Debi Fort Myers, FL df620@gate.net - - - - - - - - - I'm not stuck. I'm Ancestrally challenged.

    3. To Cindy Farris Just now saw your posting on Wanda's Most Wanted List (because I had to change to the new addresses for Wanda's Home Page and also her two Farris Most Wanted Lists). You are looking for a John Farris who married in 1819, and may be the son of a William. Cumberland county VA. Perhaps Kathy HuddCooley@AOL.com is working somewhere close to that family. Also I think Fred Fariss count@infi.net has a John who is a son of a William. Regards from Archie Ammons DWQA65A@prodigy.com I finally got it all together. But I forgot where I put it.

    2. Congratulations Jennifer!! I have been a member of this list for about a year and a half and have not made any progress on my Farris Line. My Gr grandfather, Hampton Farris, was born in 1865 in Gillisonville, SC. a little spot on the map just north of Savannah, GA..He was the youngest of 21 children. His father was James Farris born about 1803 and lived for many years in the Beaufort/Jaspar county areas. James was married 3 times, his first wife's name is unknown but his 2nd wife was Mary Ann and his 3rd wife was Nancy. It boggles the mind that with such a large family and a large Farris list that I can not make progress. Any one out there know anything?? Pam
