    3. Pam (and other Farris/Ferris researchers), You and I discussed the Richmond co, GA. Farris/etc. families a while back. I have you in my Farris notes as looking for info. on one James Farriss. This weekend, I went to the Greenville Library yesterday while up in the area visiting my father-in-law. They have massive census records for many states, and I concentrated on the GA. census records. I gathered a little more Farriss info, on GA. Farris families, who connect to Richmond Co, GA and combined it with some of the info. I already have. I found the following after making a list of ALL Farris/Ferris/etc names living in GA in 1850 and looking them up one by one, county by County. Hope this helps someone. If anyone knows anything about this James Farris b. ca 1806, VA with wife Rebecca and their family, PLEASE GET IN TOUCH! There were 5 James Farris heads of household who were in GA 1860 census records and I looked them all up. I could not find this James in 1860 GA. Pam, you mentioned your James had been married several times. The wife, Rebecca, would have been 12 when Nancy A. was born, so maybe this is his 2nd wife??? Some of the above family is found in 1889 in Augusta,Richmond Co, GA. The 1889 City Directory has the following, p. 164 Several of them seem to fit this family. Farris: Miss Aurena, wks Dartmouth Mills, bds 1203 Fenwick [matches a daughter of Beverly] *Benjamin, wks L. F.
