I have just found out that according to the 1901 Census my grandfather's brother, John Farrelly lived on the next farm at Garfiny. Details recorded were: John, head, aged 60, farmer. Julia, wife, 60 Michael,son 27 The entry may have been recorded as Farley. According to other research John was born in Drumlane Parish on 22/3/1840. He married Ellen Baxter at Kildallan in 1873.
