The minister of the Anglican church allowed us to look through the parish directory going back 200 years. Even gave us tea and cookies while we perused. New Haven is where my teenaged grandfather and his brother were deposited by their father in 1904 with relatives to go to school. I've never found evidence that they actually did go to school.
