I'm an Australian descendant of the Farrelly family and my lot were in Sth Australia in the 1850's (not sure when they migrated). I have John and Ann or Annie Mary Farrelly both b.c.1806.somewhere in Cavan Ireland. Castlerahan is a strong possibility but not definite. They migrated with their children, Michael b.c.1834, Thomas b.c.1836, John b.c.1838, Patrick b.c.1842, Bridget b.c.1848, Peter b.c.1849 and Edward Francis b.c.1851. It is a possibility that this Farrelly branch is linked with a Patrick John Farrelly b.c.1781 Cavan, he married Margaret Brady b.c.1781 Cavan. They had a son Terrence (Fred) Farrelly b.c.1819 Castleterahan and Terrence married in West Aust. in 1849. Some of these should show up on a 1821 Census - help please?
