My Farrelly ancestors came from Drumlane Parish (near Milltown) Co. Cavan. According to the 1901 Census, My grandfather's brother, John Farrelly lived on a farm there with his wife Julia and their son, Michael Farrelly who may have been born around 1874/5. Julia may have been John’s 2nd wife. He had previously married Anne Baxter in Kildallan Parish in 1873. This family was not recorded on the 1911 census.
