Charles is definitely a name in the family. Many of the children had it as a second name. Whether Charles was a sibling, I am unable to say. The birth dates I have are: Michael b 1839 Patrick b 1841 James b 1843 John b 1843 -1846 [not sure]. He called his first born son John Charles. I have been advised by the Cavan genealogical research people that there were other siblings, but the cost for further research was prohibitive. I also know that a cousin, Peter, came to Australia after the above. His first born was Charles. So it definitely was a name in the family. Whether it relates to yours, I can't say.
