He was born in County Cavan around 1875 and immigrated to NYC around 1911. He was the son of Cornelius and Margaret Burns Farrelly. Cornelius was the son of Michael and Ann Farrelly. Margaret was the daughter of Edward and Bridget Burns. He had siblings John, Patrick and Bridget who immigrated to Pennsylvania, Thomas who also lived in NYC, and Michael, Edward, Anna, Mary and Margaret who stayed in Ireland (as of 1923). James died on May 22, 1923 in a Brooklyn hospital. He was the brother of my great-grandfather, John Farrelly (Farley). Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
