My Catherine Farrelly(G/grand Aunt)are as follows. Catherine was born in the townland of Garfiny,Drumlane Parish Co Cavan on/abt 25/1/1838. Her parents were Michael Farrelly and Anne (Unknown - possibly Sheridan or Masterson). Sponsors at christening were James Farrelly & Anne Sheridan. She married James Magauram (Spelt McGaghern in some records) in Drumlane parish church on 5 October 1865. Witnesses were John Carney and Margaret Murphy. Known children were Philip b abt 1879 & Maria b abt 1867. It would appear Philip was married & had a son Peter who was a friend of my Uncle Michael Deceased for many years.
