My proven FARR line begins with Thomas and Mary FARR. The 1860 census indicated Thomas was born in PA, however, subsequent census info did not have this detail Also, on later census, he, nor his ch indicated a connection to PA -- only SC. Of Thomas' surviving children, the eldest two (proven) were born in SC and the youngest two (proven) were born in GA. After the Civil War, Thomas' son David settled in first Jackson Co., AL then Marshall Co., AL. I visited up there in October and found a grave in the Chaney's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery for a DAVID FARR b: 1792 d: 1876 and wife/'Susan d: 1916. My David (wife: Adeline) died after 1910 and is buried in New Prospect Cemetery; however, my Wilsons are buried there (David's nephews family via his sister). I don't have any info on the other David at present.
