A few years back, we were in NM, and in a museum there, I noticed a quilt hanging on the wall, that was embroirdered with cattle branding marks. I also noticed on of them belonged to a Farr ranch. I asked the people in the museum, if they knew anything about the Farr family that lived around there, and they didn't know much about them, but they explained that all the cattle in the area roamed in open range mode, so they were branded so that they could sort them out. I think the Farr ranch that I noticed was not a T. R. Farr, but seems like it was a W. or William Farr. I have not found any connection of those Farrs and mine, so far, but thought that this might help someone that might be related to some of the Farrs in that area.
